The airport itself is a nice, small airport, decorated in the usual Montana style - lots of wood and stone. There's one convenience store, with the usual airport goods at airport prices, but it also had quite a bit of Montana merchandise. There's also one restaurant/bar looking out on the tarmac. The food was decent, and not too terribly expensive. I was here in December, and the entire place was FREEZING. Also, the Frontier counter will not open until exactly 2 hours before your flight, no matter how many people are in line.

Small airport but very efficient. Clean and staff is extremely friendly. We rented a car from Alamo and they were very helpful.
I've usually had no problem with the TSA. They get me in and get me out fast for the most part. Today one of the TSA members threw away my $200 face moisturizer. I have flown 4 times in the past two weeks and everyone else said it was fine through multiple airports. He said it isn't his fault that he is the only one who does his job. How rude.
I had lost a personal item on an inbound flight to Bozeman on Aug 21. It had been some time before I realized I left the item behind, but being local, I drove to the airport and went to the Delta Airlines Special Services desk to seek help. Not only were they able to direct me to the woman on staff for Lost and Found/Baggage Claim, but she looked in 3 different places before finally successfully returning my item to me (I didn't grab her name but I stopped by around 4 pm). This persistence and dedication in customer service is what will make me want to keep flying Delta out of Bozeman. Also a shout-out to the thoroughness and integrity of the security/cleanup up crew is definitely necessary!
